Several members of our laboratory, participated in the 2nd annual meeting of the LIFE MEDEA project, which took place in Heraklion, Crete (29-30 November 2018). During the meeting, the progress of LIFE MEDEA was assessed while the public had the opportunity to learn more about the health effects of Desert Dust Storms through a series of lectures by a number of prominent scientists with significant experience in the study of Desert Dust Storms affecting the Mediterranean and other regions.
